Wood Watches by Jord, An Eco-Friendly Timepiece

A year ago, I stumbled across wood sunglasses and knew the wood look was a must have! When JORD Wood Watches reached out to me to review one of their ladies watches I was all over their stylish timepieces. I was impressed by their vast selection of styles and even more so by the quality and sustainable values that the company embodies. I chose the FRANKIE Zebrawood & Champagne and was 100% impressed by the aesthetics of the watch, the care accessories that came with it, and the high quality materials.

1. Stylish Look

I was so captivated when I opened my JORD Wood Watch box and unwrapped my gorgeous timepiece. I couldn’t believe how lightweight it was! The FRANKIE Zebrawood & Champagne watch is elegant yet modern and can be worn with ripped jeans and a chunky sweater or with a casual dress. The watch has a very intricate and sophisticated design that features sapphire crystal glass, natural zebrawood, and a light colored face with gold details that looks stunning especially when adorned with other accessories.

2. Easy-to-Care-for

My JORD Wood Watch came in a lovely wooden box with a compartment containing care necessities that included: cleaning oil, a cloth and humidity packs for easy care. The JORD Preserve cleaning oil is 100% natural and was simple to use when cleaning my watch. Also, I left the humidity pack in the drawer for optimal conditions while storing. As someone who is always in the kitchen or at the gym, I was happy to find out that the wood was also splash-proof.

3. High Quality Meets Sustainability

I’m a huge proponent for high quality and ethical products. Prior to agreeing to review one of JORDS watches, I did some homework on the brand and product and was impressed by their mission and transparency of their materials. You can discover for yourself where the wood was sourced and whether farming the tree species meets the sustainability standards of CITES and the IUCN Red List, two reputable conservation organizations.
