Hydrating Watermelon Juice Recipe

Summer is officially approaching and there is nothing better then sipping on a cold and refreshing bev! Watermelon juice is so easy to extract and is extremely hydrating since watermelons are made up of mostly water. Watermelons contain loads of vitamin A, B6 and C, and antioxidants. Since watermelons are naturally sweet, I didn’t add any additional sugar to my watermelon juice but the basil, lime and coconut water really add a lot of fresh and tangy flavors.

  1. 1 small organic seedless sugar baby watermelon chopped
  2. 1/2 c basil chopped
  3. 1 lime juiced
  4. 2 c coconut water
  5. 2 scoops of collagen powder
  1. Combine watermelon, basil, lime, coconut water and collagen powder in a blender and blend until well pulverized. If your watermelon is pulpy, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher. If not, you can pour it into glasses over ice.
